As I mentioned in my last post quilts are another interest of mine.  Often when I'm trying to work out how a quilt pattern has been generated I begin to recognize a repeat of triangles building the pattern.  I began to play with this in Rhino a little bit to see where it would lead and quickly realized that perhaps I need to return to high school geometry to make the repeats seamless. 



the repeat that followed came as a surprise.  Sadly a center rotation of the diamond failed to yeild a good result.
